Course Information
Santiburi Samui Country Club is Samui’s first and only golf course, an 18-hole, par 72, championship golf course, venue for Asian Tour’s Bangkok Airways Open 2005 & 2006. The golf course is situated on a hillside, of northern coast of Koh Samui, whilst being surrounded by a plethora of coconut plantations. The magnificent view of the ocean, beaches, and neighboring islands provide the perfect ‘paradise’ ambience. There are also 2 waterfalls and creeks running through the course which are invaluable beauty blessed by nature. The course measures a handful 6,881 yards from the championship tees, or 6,041 yards from the regular white tees.

Signature Hole

This breathtaking hole, named “The Waterfall”, is a short par 3 (157 yards) that drops some 40 meters in elevation. The back of the green is a natural waterfall cascading into a stream of crystal clear water. The view from the tee let’s you see it all, don’t forget to pause and take photos, WOW!
An ideal tee shot is a measured lofty drive to the middle of a tight green, and aims for two putts for par. Any wayward shot off the green, or in the front-left sand trap, and you are starring at a bogey or worst score. For those fortunate to land tee shot close to the pin, you’ll be justly rewarded with a birdie, or a respectable par at worst. What ever the outcome, take your time and enjoy one of golf’s rare and lucky finds.
