Course Information
Phuket Country Club, established in 1989, is the oldest and one of the finest golf courses in Phuket. The Club has recently hosted Phuket Thailand Ladies Masters 2005 & Phuket Asian Senior Masters 2006. The 18-hole, par 72, ‘Old Course’, built over a reclaimed tin mine site, stretches a strenuous 6,483 yards from the Championship’s blue tees. The course is fun and friendly to play, set in a valley, with the fairways meandering through the hills and limestone cliffs. You will traverse 3 distinct environments: six holes in undulating hills, six holes on the level and six holes through landscape forest. The stunning beauty and elegance of the course, together with the typical Thai charm and hospitality, will make your golfing here a joyful and memorable experience.
Facility
The scenic clubhouse is fully equipped with spacious locker rooms and Pro-shop, and a large pool of experienced caddies to help you mastered the difficult layout. The adjacent Country Club ‘New Course’ offers modern driving range and recreation centre, with a five star restaurant offers International and Thai cuisine.

Phuket country Club is very conveniently located, just 10 minutes from downtown Phuket and only 15 minutes to the famous Patong Beach.

 This exciting par 5 hole, measures a challenging 557 yards from Championship’s blue tee, or 512 yards from the regular white tee, is one of the most unusual hole you will find anywhere; a dog-leg right that snakes around an enormous lake and is reachable in one. To achieve this unique feat, you must aim your monstrous drive 90 degree right of the fairway, carried the golf ball 240 yards over the water, and landed softly on a relatively small green, well guarded by numerous sand and water hazards. A more conventional approach is to go around the banana shaped fairway.
To safely reach the green in regulation, correct matching of yardages and club selection, with the help of able caddy, is very important. For those fortunate to land approach shot safely on the putting surface, you’ll be justly rewarded with a birdie, or walk away happy with a par. If your shots strayed off into the water, or in the sand bunker, swallow your pride and gracefully accept a bogey or worst score, and keep coming back for more.
