Loch Palm Golf Club is one of the most refreshing and scenic golf course in Phuket, nestling below a panoramic range of peaks, and sandwiched between waterfalls and Katu village. The challenging 18-hole (par 72) golf course is built around Crystal Lake, the largest fresh water lake on any Phuket golf course, and mountain terrains. Golfers will cherrish challenges from full range of natural hazards, wind, water, slopes and elevation changes. There are large and small greens; some with subtle breaks, some with tricky contours. The latest Bermuda Hybrid grasses, noted for their shade tolerance, allow for fast and smooth putting surfaces, even in the rainy season.

Complimenting the scenic golf course is a unique country style clubhouse (under renovation). Here, you can dine Thai & International cuisine at the lakeside terrace, or watch balls drop in the lake as you practice your swing at the attached aqua driving range. Loch Palm Golf Club is conveniently located in the middle of Phuket Island, in Kathu district, just 7 kms. from Phuket town centre and 15 minutes away from the popular Patong beach.

The hole is one of Phuket most stunning par 3’s and measures a respectable 168 yards from blue tee, or a handful 147 yards from white tee. The large undulating green, well guarded by surrounding water and sand hazards, lies 60 feet below the tee-off area.
The challenge of this fantastic par 3 hole is on play strategy, brave and accurate iron shot is well favored. Wind and elevation plays havoc with club selection. The closer your tee shot stays to the water the easier your putt will be, while merely hitting the green will not guarantee par.
